Every time a new resident joins the neighborhood, all its residents have one thought going through their minds – 'Please let these new people be nice and reasonable so that we can all have a moment of peace in this neighborhood'.

Usually, accepting a new member to a neighborhood community goes one or two ways–either you love them and get along great, or you cannot stand them and are simply counting the days until one of you leaves. Landing on the first option feels like winning the lottery because you almost never hear of people who actually get along with their neighbors. Instead, it is always one neighborly dispute after the other, a never-ending battle with people you are forced to see every single day.

The resident in the story below was given the clean-slate opportunity when a new neighbor joined their neighborhood recently. They did their best to welcome that neighbor with open arms, but were quickly met with behavior that proved their good neighborly relationship may not stand a chance…

  • are public for everyone, even owned ones when you place them on the streets legally anyone can put trash in it. How about be a nice neighbours and explain them how it works, and they can place it for today but each neighbour have their own bin.
